Court-Mandated Therapy
The goals of court-mandated therapy vary depending on the case and may include improving emotional regulation, addressing harmful behaviors, supporting accountability, enhancing communication, or meeting requirements set by the legal system. It’s typically required for certain custody cases, probation or parole conditions, domestic disputes, or other legal proceedings. I am certified in the STOP Program for domestic violence by David B. Wexler.
I do not accept insurance for court-mandated therapy at this time.
-
Those who are required to attend as part of a legal order from a court.
-
While attendance is required, my approach still aims to provide a confidential, supportive space for personal growth and behavioral change within the boundaries of the court’s expectations.
-
Adult individuals only. I do not provide court-ordered or mandated family therapy services in which minors are involved. Additionally, I do not offer parent-child reunification therapy.
